After uploading your file on the import page you are taken to the second stage of the import process. to the Advanced dropdown and select from the various options.
- Check Uncheck the box if you want empty fields to override any existing recipient data in the system. If . By default, the box is checked. So, if this box is not checked, all existing data in the imported fields will be erased!
- If you are using a CSV file, choose the field separator. (For more details, see CSV File import above.)
- Choose the mobile number format correctly.
- Select "Replace Current Group Assignments" when exporting existing recipients from MailUp and re-importing them. All previous group assignments will be erased and replaced with new groups assigned in the import process.
- Choose the subscription preference. (Remember, all imports default to the "Subscribed" status.)
