StatuscolourYellowtitleWORK IN PROGRESSVersion 2 of our drag-n-drop email editor combines ease of use with new features that give you more control on the design of your emails.

Structure vs. content

For maximum design flexibility, the structure of the message has been separated from its content. This means, for example, that you can now have rows of content that use different designs for different sections of the message (e.g. full-width background colors, a different number of columns, etc.) without negatively impacting the responsiveness of the message on mobile devices.

Talking about rows, the introduction of this design element is one of the main differences in version 2 of the editor. So let's start this review of what's new from there.

Rows of content

Control at the row level allows designers to using different design structures and styles for different sections of the message. For example, you can now change the background color of an entire row of content.

In the example sample email shown below, for instance, the message visually separates the top section from the lower portion of the message by using 100%-width rows with different background colors.
