How to make an image become a link
How to make an image become a link
To make an image become a clickable link (e.g. to a certain Web site), follow these steps.
- Log into your administration console
- Locate the message that you wish to edit
- In the HTML Editor, select the image that you wish to work with
- In the toolbar, click on the Insert Link icon
- The Insert/Edit Link window will open. Use the fields in this window to specify the link location. The only two fields that you typically need to worry about are the top one - where the link URL should be inserted - and the "Target". Normally, the target should be set to "blank" to tell the system to open the link in a new window.
- Click on the Insert button when you are done
- Save the message
You can check that the link is working as expected by previewing the message (e.g. click on the message name in the page that lists all saved messages or on the preview icon in the HTML editor).
